This 12 month program is the perfect way to explore a beautiful harmony of colors and values, with a modern twist. Each round demonstrates a wide range of techniques that will build the skills of novice quilters and will be a fun play day for the experts. 

Techniques include traditional piecing, strip piecing and an easy no-tear paper piecing.

With a full compliment of video tutorials and online learning support for all the BOM participants, Tara will share her tips and tricks for each step of the way, ensuring everyone has a great time and comes away with a beautiful quilt!

This includes enrollment in the year long video tutorial support to be hosted on Thinkific (an online learning platform). 

There will be video tutorials available each month. They will include tips, tricks and technique demos, and an area to leave comments and ask questions. Videos will be released monthly starting in January 2026, and are intended for paid participants with pattern purchase only. Please do not make these available to the general public! Participants will have ongoing access to the video course as well!

Quilt size: 85” x 88”

Fabric requirements: 
Quilt top - 18 ½ yards total (including binding)
Backing - 2 2/3 yards 108” wide backing fabric (or 8 yards standard width fabric,  2 seams needed)

Reusable Foundation Paper Piecing
Precision piecing
Strip piecing
Difficulty – Confident beginner to advanced

Schedule: 
BOM sew along program runs from February 2026 - January 2027

January 2026: Intro and gathering supplies (no sewing).
February 2026- January 2027 (Months 1-12): Customers will receive fabrics and sew the round of the month.
