COLOR CAMP IS HERE!!!
Learn how to pair colors and create palettes that work, and know why they work. Deepen your understanding using hands-on color studies, guided exercises, and Tara’s approach to value, contrast, and color interaction.
If you love color but often second-guess your color choices, this course will help you trust your eye.
Not by memorizing rules, but by seeing color differently.
COURSE RUNS June 1st-June 29th
Does this sound familiar?
You love working with color…but sometimes you find yourself:
- second-guessing your palette choices
- unsure if your colors really work together
- wondering when a palette is “finished”
- struggling to balance lights, mediums, and darks
- wanting to use bold color but not knowing how to make it work
You're not alone!! Many quilters love color, but haven’t been shown how to see it clearly.
That’s exactly what Color Camp is designed to teach.
A Different Way to Learn Color
Most color classes focus on rules or formulas.
Color Camp takes a different approach, because I don't use rules myself!
Instead of memorizing color theory, you’ll explore color through a series of hands-on exercises and small studies that help you observe how color actually behaves.
As you experiment and reflect on what you see, patterns begin to emerge. Over time, your eye becomes more sensitive to the relationships between colors & values, and you begin to understand how small changes can take a color combination form blah to yes!! .
In Color Camp, you'll learn how to:
- Feel more confident choosing fabrics without relying on strict color rules
- Understand how value shapes design
- Create contrast, movement, and harmony with color
- Recognize when a palette is finished
- Combine colors you might never have considered before
- Trust your instincts when working with color
Through a series of hands-on studies and guided exercises, you’ll start to see color relationships in an entirely new way.
By the end of Color Camp, you’ll have a deeper understanding of how color works in quilts and greater confidence making your own color decisions.
