Fireworks is a bold, scrap-friendly quilt pattern and a great introduction to foundation paper piecing.

The pattern features Tara Faughnan’s glue-stick paper-piecing method. Quilters sew beside the folded foundations instead of through them, so there are no papers to tear away—and the foundations can be reused. Instructions for traditional foundation paper piecing are also included.

With endless possibilities for color and placement, every Fireworks quilt will look completely different.

ABOUT THIS PATTERN

• Skill level: Confident beginner
• Finished sizes: Throw 60" × 60" / Large 80" × 80"
• Printed booklets measure 5 ½" x 8 ½" and come in plastic bags with a hang tag.
• Printable foundations for both sizes are provided by digital download
• Foundations formatted for 8½" × 11" and 11" × 17" paper
• Pattern includes assembly diagrams that can also be used as coloring pages
