Star Brite is a modern quilt pattern that explores color, value, and strip piecing through a versatile eight-point star block. With options for simple, strip-pieced, and scrappy stars, this pattern offers lots of opportunities to experiment with color placement and variation.

Working with a familiar star shape allows you to focus on how value, contrast, and pieced fabrics affect the overall design. Small changes in strip width, color placement, or fabric choices can completely transform the look of the block. Choose between traditional Y-seam construction or a simplified version without Y-seams and find the approach that works best for you.
