New Page Template Tutorial
Don't edit this page!
This is your default page template. Any page you assign to this template in your Shopify admin will include this section. Let's create a new page instead (tutorial below).
To create a new page:
1 - Right here, in your theme customizer,
Click the center dropdown in your theme customizer. Click Pages, then at the very bottom, click "Create template."
2 - Name your page template
Name your page (this name won't be customer-facing, so name it something that will make sense to you), then you can copy the sections/content from an existing page.
If you'd rather start from scratch, it's ok to keep it at default page, as you're going to add/remove sections anyway. Click "Create template."
3 - Add sections + design your new page
The theme customizer will redirect you to your new page, where you can add/remove sections, and add your content.
Don't forget to save!
4 - Create your page in the admin (back end)
In order for the page to show up for customers, you'll need to create a page in your admin (the back end). After you've saved the new page template in your theme customizer, exit the customizer, navigate to Online Store > Pages, then click "Create Page."
Name your page (this WILL be customer-facing), and on the right hand side, select the page template from the dropdown (the one you just created). You did it!!
