Rail Yard - Live Zoom Workshop

Join Tara to create your own unique Rail Yard Quilt!

In this design-centric workshop, Tara teaches you how to foundation paper-piece using reusable paper foundations to create a dynamic quilt. This quilt is a wonderful exploration of technique and value. We will cover the basics of sewing block-based designs and discuss how color placement and value can create high impact compositions that move the focus across the quilt.

Pattern is included in the class fee.

In the 1st session: Tara will go through her color selection process, explore design concepts fundamental to making this quilt shine and together you'll begin constructing your blocks. 

In the 2nd session: We will delve deeper into the design process now that participants have had time to sew some blocks together. Tara will provide guidance and feedback as you work on assembling the layout of your quilt, and show alternate ways to use the block.
