Gridwork Video Course
Gridwork Video Course
Structured and playful. Bold and simple. Let’s mess with grids!
Grid Work is a modular block study that plays with repetition, proportion, and movement. It’s part of my Block Studies Collective and is designed to help you explore both structure and improvisation—starting with something simple and building from there.
You’ll learn how to use strip piecing and regular piecing methods (including some gently curved seams), and how the placement and proportion of color can completely shift your design. This is a perfect project for exploring how subtle choices in value and shape create big impact.
Think: dot-on-grid meets modern art quilt, with a whole lot of personal expression in between.
A custom-curated fabric bundle is available for this course—selected by Tara to highlight the color, value, and proportions explored in this lesson.
