Railroad Crossing - Live Zoom Workshop

Join Tara to create your own unique Railroad Crossing Quilt!

In this color and value driven workshop, Tara teaches you a variety of ways to make and work with Half Square Triangle blocks. This quilt is a wonderful exploration of technique and value. We will cover the basics of sewing block-based design and discuss how color placement and value can create high impact compositions that move the focus across the quilt.

In the 1st session: Tara will go through her personal color selection process, explore design concepts fundamental to making this quilt shine and together you'll begin constructing your blocks. 

In the 2nd session: We will delve deeper into the design process now that participants have had time to sew together a variety of blocks. Tara will provide guidance and feedback as you work on assembling the layout of your quilt (the trickiest part of the process).

Pattern is included in the class fee.

Small Class Size: Tara keeps classes small so participants get as near to an in-person class experience as possible with time for one-on-one feedback and Q&A. 

Skill Level: This workshop is great for both beginners and experienced quilters.
